Join us as we welcome our newly arrived Fulbright students and scholars to Georgia. Enjoy good food, games and company. We have a beautiful pavilion, so the picnic will go on – rain or shine.

Special Welcome Remarks from Atlanta Mayor, Kasim Reed, honoring Senator J. William Fulbright and the importance of International Educational Exchange, as part of the Tree Planting in recognition of the 70th Anniversary of the Fulbright Program.
Fulbright Commemorative Tree Planting will occur at 5:30 pm with Mayor Reed in the Mayor’s Grove section of Piedmont Park, just a short walk from the Picnic Table Area (#11 on Piedmont Park map).
Directions: Please park at 1320 Monroe Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30306. Then follow signs and directions to Large Pavillon, close to 11
